Black Tie
An evening of timeless elegance. Sundance upholds a black tie dress code, and guests whose attire does not honor it will respectfully be unable to attend.
An Intimate Affair
Our vows will be exchanged high above the canyon floor, in a quiet place reached only by chairlift. We invite you to ascend the mountain with us and be fully present for this moment.
Guests will travel to the ceremony by ski lift. Please dress in black tie, with a wrap or topcoat for the cooler mountain air, and allow a little extra time to arrive.
To honor the moment, we ask that phones, cameras, wallets and purses be left behind. Secure storage will be provided at the base. Our photographer will capture the day, and we will share every image with you.
The ceremony is reserved for our adult guests. Children are warmly welcomed to join us at the reception that follows.
Kindly plan to arrive at the base with time to spare. Lift rides begin promptly.
“In you, I have found the love of my life and my closest friend.”
The Day
Final times will be confirmed with your invitation.
An unplugged, adults-only ceremony reached by ski lift.
Join us at the reception for cocktails and long-overdue embraces. Children are welcome.
A seated dinner with toasts and stories.
Celebrate with us late into the night.
Our Story

Getting Here
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the closest major airport, about an hour’s drive from Sundance. Rental cars and rideshares are available at the airport.
Cabins and rooms at Sundance Mountain Resort are limited and book early. Provo, Orem, and Park City also have plenty of options. A guest room block may be shared with your invitation.
Mountain roads can be winding, and weather can change quickly. Leave extra time on the day, and check road conditions before you travel.

Questions
Black tie. We invite you to dress for an evening of grace and refinement: tuxedos and dark formal suits with black tie for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or refined formal attire for ladies. Sundance maintains a strict black tie dress code, and we kindly ask that it be honored. Guests whose attire does not meet it will, with regret, be turned away. As the evening air in the mountains is cool, a wrap or topcoat is a lovely addition.
Children are warmly welcome at the reception. The ceremony, which takes place on the mountain, is reserved for adult guests.
By ski lift, up the mountain. Please dress in black tie, choose a wrap or topcoat for the cooler air, wear sensible closed-toe shoes, and plan to arrive at the base a little early. Guests with mobility concerns are welcome to reach out so we can make arrangements.
We would like everyone fully present for our vows, and the lift ride is easier without belongings. Phones, cameras, wallets and purses will not be permitted at the ceremony, and secure storage will be provided at the base. Our photographer will capture the day, and we will share every photo with you.
Your invitation will indicate who it’s addressed to. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Mountain weather is unpredictable. We have a plan for every forecast, and we’ll keep everyone updated.
Your presence is the greatest gift. Registry details will be shared closer to the date.
